Highlands Medical Center in Scottsboro, AL is seeking an administrative assistant to greet patients and manage demographic and financial information, ensuring smooth check-ins and accurate registration.

You will handle customer service issues, support daily operations, and assist with process improvements while maintaining a friendly, fast-paced environment. Flexible shifts including weekends and on-call duties may be required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Two to three years of customer service/public relations/leadership experience preferred.
• Two to three years computer experience preferred.
• Previous medical record or billing experience strongly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Greet the public, patients, and families.
• Enter demographic and financial information for all patient types.
• Handle customer service issues in a friendly manner.
• Ensure registration paperwork is accurate.
• Support daily operations and process improvements.
• Collect required fees from patients or authorized representatives.
• Work flexible shifts, weekends, holidays, and on call as needed.
