Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years in medical office, clinic, or high-volume customer service preferred.
• Proficiency with EHR systems (eClinicalWorks) desirable; basic MS Office skills required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors professionally to create a welcoming environment.
• Manage patient check-in/check-out, verify identities, and guide patients to waiting areas.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate provider calendars for efficient patient flow.
• Handle multi-line phone system, relay messages, and answer general clinic questions.
• Collect and update patient demographics and insurance data in the EHR.
• Verify insurance eligibility and obtain necessary authorizations/referrals.
• Collect co-pays and outstanding balances; issue receipts and reconcile daily collections.
• Manage medical records requests and scan documents into patient charts.
