Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum experience: 1 year in a hospital or medical business office setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensures medical necessity compliance and verifies patient eligibility.
• Posts payments in the computer system and generates receipts.
• Obtains demographic, insurance and financial information from patient or guarantor.
• Explains forms to patients and obtains signatures.
• Communicates with physicians, care teams, and patients to support a smooth clinical experience.
