Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare Corporate is seeking a patient access support professional to ensure accurate insurance data and patient demographics within the Patient Access Department. You will calculate patient financial responsibility, present payment options, and process payments while ensuring consent on required forms.

Ideal candidates have 1 year in healthcare revenue cycle or related clerical roles; Epic experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in healthcare revenue cycle, clinical role, or related clerical accounting/finance/retail/customer service required.
• 3 years of healthcare revenue cycle experience preferred.
• Certification with HFMA or Certified Revenue Cycle Representative preferred (optional).

Responsibilities

• Serve as patient-facing support for the Patient Access Department within Piedmont Healthcare.
• Ensure patient accounts have valid insurance coverage and current demographic/clinical data.
• Calculate patient financial responsibility and present payment options/requirements.
• Process patient payments and secure consent on required forms/notices.
