Responsibilities

• Provide training and orientation on department methods, procedures and policies.
• Resolve complex eligibility or insurance verification problems with patients, families, and payers.
• Verify insurance coverage and benefits, obtain authorizations/referrals, calculate estimated patient liability, and ensure accurate bill production.
