Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business or related field is preferred.
• Previous healthcare or Physician Practice experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets each patient with a smile and uses AIDET in all interactions.
• Demonstrates strong organizational skills. Able to multi-task.
• Answers incoming calls timely, courteously, and professionally.
• Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as accept direction on given assignments.
• Responsible for working extended hours including weekends and/or holidays.
• Performs accurate bedside demographic and insurance capture in the patient care area.
• Accurately enters patient information into Medical Record database with little or no error.
• Performs insurance verifications and uses electronic eligibility information to identify patient coverage status and amounts due
• Accurately records and processes Point of Service Payments.
• Other duties as requested
