Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift more than 25lbs if needed.
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience, preferably EPIC.
• Minimum of 1+ years of experience in Patient Access, Medical Office, Health Insurance or relevant area.

Responsibilities

• Handles patient-facing registration and information collection.
• Verifies patient information and communicates patient responsibility.
• Works with third-party payers to determine reasons for outstanding claims and facilitates payment.
• Obtains consent and reconciles dues in the financial system.
• Ensures HIPAA compliance across patient settings.
