Conway Medical Center is seeking a Patient Access Specialist I to greet patients, verify demographics, and ensure accurate check-in processes. The role emphasizes strong customer service and precise data entry in hospital systems.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma with 2 years of customer service/clerical experience and 1 year of patient registration in a medical setting preferred. This is a full-time, day-shift position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Two (2) years previous customer service/administrative clerical experience required.
• One (1) year experience in patient registration in a medical environment preferred.

Responsabilités

• Greet all patients and their accompanying family members when applicable and provide exemplary customer service.
• Accurately identify the appropriate account for patient visit and educate patients on required forms and obtain signatures as required by policy and procedure.
• Complete all check-in files and manage all appropriate processes specific to the patient and their visit.
• Collect and post co-payments and balances on accounts due.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills.
• Display effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient use of technology/PC skills required.
• Complete other duties as assigned by department leadership.
