Job summary

MUSC Community Physicians (MCP) is seeking an Employee for a 40-hour workweek in Orangeburg. The role focuses on accurate clinic registration, scheduling, and insurance verification to ensure smooth patient flow and frontline service quality.

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Register patients at the clinic, including scheduling, insurance verification and co-pay collection.
• Collects co-pay/co-insurance at time of service according to MUSC policies.
• Corrects registration errors to prevent front-end denials.
• Answer phones according to MUSC protocol.
• Communicate effectively with service delivery areas to maximize patient flow and service quality.
