Qualifications

• Knowledge of database software applications desired.

Responsibilities

• Fields and directs incoming calls and responds to inquiries.
• Coordinates and records appointment times; tracks schedule changes.
• Ensures all registration and admission forms are ready for arrival.
• Gathers confidential health and financial information to assure payment for services.
• Verifies insurance eligibility and obtains pre-authorizations as required.
• Maintains HIPAA-compliant patient records in the EMR system.
