Job summary

Emerus is seeking a Patient Access Specialist for a PRN nights position at a small-format hospital in Pennsylvania. You will facilitate patient tracking, collect demographic data, verify benefits, and help secure payment responsibility to maximize hospital reimbursement.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and prior enrollment in MS Office tools, with 2 years of patient registration/insurance verification experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Emergency Department registration experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle patient registration and insurance verification to support revenue cycle.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient information.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist with medical records and scheduling.
