Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of customer service experience is required.
• 1 year of medical registration or reception experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collects patient demographic, insurance, and financial information for outpatient services and inpatient admissions.
• Verifies benefits and obtains precertification/authorization as necessary.
• Answers phone and maintains code systems; collects co-pays/deductibles at point of service.
