Job summary

Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia (CCP) is seeking a full-time Patient Access Representative for our West Chester, PA office. The role requires traveling to Downingtown, Kennett Square and West Grove offices. A $500 sign-on bonus is included.

Responsibilities include scheduling tests, reviewing instructions, entering charges, confirming appointments, greeting patients, verifying demographics and insurance information, collecting co-pays, and performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in a medical office setting.
• Must have knowledge of different insurance plans.
• Must have the ability to multitask.
• Computer knowledge is a must.
• Experience with an EMR system is a plus.
• Must be well-spoken, friendly, and outgoing.

Responsibilities

• Schedule tests and follow-up appointments as patients leave the office.
• Review instructions for studies scheduled with patients.
• Enter charges as the patient is leaving, as well as during downtime.
• Call patients to confirm appointments.
• Receive, greet, and direct patients.
• Verify demographics, insurance, and PCP information at time of check-in.
• Collect co-pays.
• Other duties as assigned.
