Job summary

St. Luke’s Health System is seeking a Lead Patient Access Specialist 4 to provide exceptional service and accurate support for patients, providers and departments. You will guide registration, scheduling and complex referrals while modeling professionalism for the team.

This role emphasizes mentoring, collaboration and continuous improvement as you use a range of technologies to support workflows and improve the patient experience.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 3 years relevant experience.

Job description

The Patient Access Specialist 4 is responsible for responding to patient, provider, and department/service area needs with a high emphasis on customer service and accuracy. This includes, but is not limited to, registration, complex scheduling, referral coordination, benefit verification, preauthorization, order transcription and general inquiries from patients, providers and the general public. This subject matter expert is also responsible to serve as a role model and resource to coworkers.

We're looking for a Lead who wants to make a difference for both patients and teammates. This role helps foster a positive, supportive culture where people feel connected, engaged and motivated to deliver an exceptional patient experience.
