Job summary

KANSAS HEALTH SYSTEM is seeking a Patient Registration Representative at MOB LabBell Hospital to support inpatient and outpatient registrations, collect demographics and insurance details, and secure patient encounters.

You will greet patients, verify information, collect co-pays, balance cash drawer, and ensure accurate documentation in the system, while upholding exceptional customer service and compliance with facility policies.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• 1+ year(s) of clerical, registration and/or customer service experience in a health care setting.

Responsibilities

• Register inpatients and outpatients; collect demographics and insurance information.
• Collect co-payments and deposits as appropriate.
• Balance cash drawer at end of day.
• Explain facility policies and ensure consent and insurance forms are signed and entered in the system.
