As a Patient Access Specialist at Comprehensive Interventional Care Centers, you will be the friendly face that patients first encounter, setting the tone for their entire visit. Your role will involve greeting patients with compassion, registering their private health information with organized precision, and assisting with appointment scheduling over the phone. To excel as a Patient Access Specialist at Comprehensive Interventional Care Centers, candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent along with a minimum of two years’ experience in a front office or medical setting. Successful candidates demonstrate exceptional skill in accurately completing assignments with close attention to detail, proficiency in data entry with minimal errors, and the ability to maintain records and files accurately. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential, as is the capacity to work autonomously in a cooperative environment. Candidates are required to complete CME compliance training, obtain BLS certification within six months of hire, and uphold strict patient privacy standards in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
