Job summary

Baptist Health Downtown Jacksonville is seeking a Patient Access Representative II to register patients accurately and efficiently, manage multiple access areas, and provide excellent service for in-person and phone encounters.

The role requires knowledge of EMTALA, AHCA, and JCAHO regulations, as well as HIPAA privacy. Shift is 4:00pm–2:00am, Wednesday through Saturday, with onsite parking and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Certified Medical Assistant is preferred.
• Experience with patient scheduling and medical office workflows is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Register patients accurately and efficiently across multiple access areas.
• Maintain service excellence for face-to-face and telephone encounters.
• Contribute to PAS goals including collections and palm scanning.
