Indiana University Health is seeking an administrative professional to support the Neurology IMR clinic in Indianapolis. This role focuses on scheduling, collecting patient information, and ensuring accurate financial and demographic records to maximize reimbursement and clinical outcomes.

Responsibilities include greeting callers, facilitating patient flow, explaining department policies, entering charges, and handling payments.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–3+ years relevant experience; healthcare/administrative experience preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience in a matrix/complex work environment is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Facilitates patient flow from point of entry to destination in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
• Obtains information to generate an accurate financial and demographic record for patients for maximum reimbursement and outcomes.
• Schedules appointments, interviews patients for medical information, explains charges and policies, validates and enters charges, and collects payments.
• Answers incoming calls and directs patients and visitors appropriately.
