Job summary

Munson Healthcare is seeking a Medical Business Associate (Receptionist) at our Traverse City location. You will be the first contact for patients and families, handling registrations and scheduling while ensuring a smooth visit and accurate information flow.

You will verify insurance details, enter data into the registration system, and greet patients professionally by phone and in person. This role requires high school completion and solid customer service experience to support our care team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months to 1 year of customer service experience required.
• Proficient typing and experience with Windows and multiple computer systems.

Responsibilities

• First point of contact for patients and families.
• Obtain/verify patient and insurance information and enter into registration system.
• Schedule patient appointments, including referrals and diagnostic testing/procedures.
• Greet patients professionally in person and over the phone.
