Job summary

Intermountain Health Utah Valley Hospital in Provo is seeking an Enhanced Scheduler to register and schedule patients across facilities. The role includes reviewing insurance benefits, estimating costs, and presenting payment options, plus gathering demographic, clinical, and prep information.

You will act as a single point of contact between referring offices and the hospital, coordinating with multiple service lines. PRN, Monday–Friday 7:30am–5:00pm with hours varying.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience managing multiple tasks or priorities.
• Proficient with basic computer programs (word processing, spreadsheets, email, calendars).

Responsibilities

• Verify EMPI link accuracy and report compromised records or identity threats.
• Gather and verify registration and scheduling information.
• Input patient demographics and insurance data for billing and reporting.
• Explain billing processes and discuss insurance benefits with patients.
• Coordinate appointments across multiple locations within the system.
