Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an experienced scheduling specialist at our Peaks Regional Office in Broomfield, CO. The role handles inbound calls, schedules and pre-registers patients for multiple locations, and ensures accurate data entry and insurance verification.

You will use several scheduling systems and assist with orders from physicians. We value strong customer service, bilingual ability per the QBS, and the ability to mentor new staff while upholding Intermountain Health's service

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent OR 4 years revenue cycle experience
• Minimum of 2 years revenue cycle or contact center experience
• Pass ALTA Qualified Bilingual Staff Assessment (QBS)

Responsibilities

• Schedule and pre-register patients for appointments and procedures across multiple locations and departments
• Handle high call volumes and manage phone transfers and conferencing
• Input and verify patient data and insurance information
• Transcribe external orders from physicians
• Mentor new hires and promote Intermountain Health values
• Resolve basic technical issues and navigate multiple scheduling systems
