Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year healthcare or community health center experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and organizational abilities.
• Bilingual English/Portuguese or English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes and assists patients, families, and guests in a professional manner.
• Accurately collects and enters demographic and insurance information.
• Schedules, reschedules, or cancels appointments.
• Collects co-pays and processes patient payments.
• Verifies insurance eligibility and benefits prior to service.
• Ensures accurate PCP assignment and referral requirements.
