Job summary

Singing River is seeking a Patient Access Services Pre-Arrival Specialist in Pascagoula for outpatient scheduling, pre-certification, and benefit collection. You will handle registrations, verify demographics, and coordinate with physicians’ offices to optimize clinic flow.

Responsibilities include communicating pre-procedure instructions, resolving scheduling conflicts with nurses and financial counselors, and maintaining data integrity in scheduling systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• CHAA or CRCR preferred; de-escalation training must be completed by orientation (90 days).
• Experience in hospital or physician office registration and scheduling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments and perform pre-certification/authorization as needed.
• Complete pre-registration functions and collect patient benefits.
• Ensure accurate patient demographics and data integrity.
• Communicate pre-procedure instructions to patients/physicians’ offices.
• Coordinate with nurses and Financial Counselors to resolve scheduling conflicts.
