Job summary

Valley Health System is seeking an administrative professional to support patients at the Luckow Pavilion Outpatient Care Center (Infusion & Lab or Radiation Oncology). You will perform registration, preregistration, scheduling, admitting, and data processing to ensure timely access to services while coordinating with other health care professionals.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, BA training preferred, and 2–5 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of BA training program preferred or required.
• Two to five years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Register and preregister patients; schedule and admit.
• Support referrals to Patient Financial Advocates and verify authorizations.
• Verify medical necessity and patient consents; process information.
• Coordinate care with health professionals for timely access to services.
• Maintain database and ensure accurate information processing.
