Responsibilities

• Efficient pre-registration, registration and scheduling of multiple patient appointments.
• Manage additions and cancellations of patient appointments.
• Input patient demographic and financial data accurately into hospital systems.
• Verify benefits and obtain authorizations from payers/providers.
• Communicate schedule changes to staff and patients.
• Process patient charges and explain insurance terms.
• Serve as liaison between patients, providers and office staff.
