Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in healthcare scheduling, patient access, or customer service operations preferred.
• Must be 19 years of age to witness legal consents.

Responsibilities

• Schedule outpatient, inpatient, and procedural appointments based on provider orders and patient preferences.
• Collect and enter accurate demographic, insurance, and appointment information into electronic systems.
• Communicate preparation instructions, arrival details, and follow-up information to patients or representatives.
• Receive and process referrals and physician orders through phone, fax, or electronic workflows.
• Identify uninsured or self-pay patients and initiate referral to financial assistance resources.
• Maintain productivity, quality, and service standards in a fast-paced scheduling environment.
