The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) seeks a Patient Access Coordinator to coordinate multidisciplinary and ancillary scheduling across the enterprise. You will act as a liaison, helping patients overcome barriers and enabling timely, informed care planning.

Requirements include a high school diploma with healthcare experience or an advanced degree with related experience, plus proficiency in EPIC, MS Outlook, and MS Office. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Formación

• High school diploma required with 3 years of healthcare-related experience, or an associate's degree with 2 years, or a bachelor's degree with 1 year.
• Experience with Epic, medical terminology, and insurance knowledge preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Outlook and calendar functions.

Responsabilidades

• Schedule and coordinate complex follow-up appointments and multidisciplinary clinics.
• Serve as a liaison between patients and hospital care teams to facilitate access and communication.
• Maintain accuracy under deadlines with strong interpersonal and written communication.
