Job summary

Qualifications

  • 35 wpm typing speed preferred.
  • Ability to effectively interact with coworkers and the public.

Responsibilities

  • Handle telecommunications from within and outside the clinic.
  • Direct patients and visitors to appropriate areas.
  • Enter demographic and insurance information prior to service.
  • Enter correct information into scheduling software.
  • Verify insurance and gather preauth information.
  • Obtain and communicate pre-service payment information to Patient Access staff.
