Job summary

Fairview Health Services in Minnesota seeks a Scheduling Coordinator to support our clinics in Minneapolis, Edina, Burnsville, Maplewood, and Brooklyn Park. The 0.7 FTE role includes registration, scheduling, and coordinating services to ensure smooth patient flow across multiple sites.

You will work with patients, providers, and staff, handling scheduling from doctor orders, managing authorizations, and answering multiple phone lines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Vocational/Technical training required.
• Associates Degree preferred.
• One to three years experience in scheduling/clerical role.

Responsibilities

• Acquires vital consent from patient for medical records and authorizations as needed.
• Communicates with patients, staff and referring physicians regarding decisions and schedules.
• Schedules services such as tests and procedures per Doctor’s orders; maintains accurate schedules and reports.
