Job summary

Florida Orthopaedic Institute in Clearwater is seeking a Scheduling-Patient Access representative to coordinate appointments for FOI patients with professionalism and accuracy.

You will register new patients, collect demographics and insurance information, schedule per physician protocol, and update records while ensuring compliance with FOI policies. Excellent customer service and multi-tasking are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• 2 years of experience in a medical environment
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and handle high volume of calls

Responsibilities

• Register all new patients in the computer system by obtaining patient demographics and insurance information.
• Schedule appointments according to patient need and physician protocol.
• Handle request for add-on appointment immediately according to physician protocols.
• Update established patients insurance as needed.
• Verify all established patients personal information & insurance information as needed
• Assure compliance with all company plans, policies and procedures set forth by the Florida Orthopaedic Institute
• All other duties as assigned.
