Job summary

Florida Orthopaedic Institute is seeking a Scheduling Representative to manage patient appointments in Clearwater, FL. This full-time, on-site role focuses on accurate scheduling, data entry, and maintaining patient demographics and insurance information.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma, 2 years in a medical setting, excellent customer service, and the ability to multi-task while handling a high volume of calls.

Responsibilities

• Register all new patients in the computer system by obtaining patient demographics and insurance information.
• Schedule appointments according to patient need and physician protocol.
• Handle requests for add-on appointment immediately according to physician protocols.
• Update established patients' insurance as needed.
• Verify all established patients' personal and insurance information as needed.
• Assure compliance with all company plans, policies and procedures set forth by the Florida Orthopaedic Institute.
