Job summary

Florida Orthopaedic Institute is seeking a Scheduling Representative to schedule appointments for FOI patients with accuracy and professionalism. You will collect patient demographics and insurance details, then coordinate with physicians to ensure timely scheduling.

The role requires strong customer service, multitasking, and data-entry skills, with a focus on patient-centered support in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a medical environment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Able to multi-task and handle high volume of calls.
• Intermediate data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Register all new patients in the computer system by obtaining patient demographics and insurance information.
• Schedule appointments according to patient need and physician protocol.
• Handle request for add-on appointment immediately according to physician protocols.
• Update established patients insurance as needed.
• Verify all established patients personal information & insurance information as needed.
• Assure compliance with all company plans, policies and procedures set forth by the Florida Orthopaedic Institute.
• All other duties as assigned.
