Job summary

NYU Langone Florida is seeking an Access Center Representative I to be the welcoming first point of contact for patients and callers. This on-site, full-time role schedules appointments, handles inquiries, and maintains patient information with empathy and efficiency.

You will use NYU FGP systems to verify details, schedule for multiple specialties, and collaborate with site teams to ensure a smooth patient experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, plus 6 months of contact center or customer service experience.
• Experience in access/contact center, hospital, clinic, or medical office scheduling is highly preferred.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Respond to multi-channel inquiries from patients, physicians, employees, and other callers regarding appointments, referrals, provider messages, and services.
• Schedule appointments for NYU FGP specialties using physician protocols.
• Research providers and practices across the NYULH network to best meet the patient’s needs.
• Enter patient information, verify insurance, and perform scheduling functions using NYU FGP systems.
