We hire Patient Access Schedulers in a class format tied to training schedules. The first 4 weeks of employment involve training, with a new class starting tentatively on July 21, 2025. The schedules and shifts are currently unknown but tend to include a variety of day and evening shifts, possibly during weekends, part-time or full-time.

Position Responsibilities

• Pre-register and schedule patient appointments with attention and courtesy.
• Direct calls for services not provided in Patient Access Scheduling.
• Distribute requested information in a timely manner.
• Schedule, admit, and pre-authorize insurance for patients.
• Serve as the first point of contact, providing empathetic and compassionate assistance to navigate our system.
• Work remotely while maintaining quality and performance expectations.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of experience in a customer-facing sales or service role

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate of Arts degree or completion of a medical terminology program
• 2 years of experience in a medical setting
