Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Three years previous medical office experience preferred.

• Knowledge of filing and office systems.
• Ability to organize work and handle multiple projects/priorities.
• Demonstrates professional oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• One year previous pre-certification, registration, billing and collections experience preferred.
• Ability to operate fax, copier, and scanner required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates the patient flow by identifying patients, collecting demographics, and entering registration data.
• Verify and pre-cert insurance as necessary; establish patient financial responsibility.
• Assist in resolution through establishment of payment agreements or financial assistance applications.
