Job summary

Driscoll Children's Hospital seeks an experienced Patient Accounting & Financial Service Manager to oversee referrals, registration/admissions, and financial counseling at all access points. The role partners with the department director to improve performance, ensure policy adherence, and promote service excellence across the revenue cycle.

Responsibilities include staff supervision, training, audits, and cross-department collaboration to meet customer needs and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from a two-year college is required; or ten years of direct patient access or revenue cycle leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid billing regulations and compliance.
• Experience in supervising and developing staff within a revenue cycle environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of patient accounting, registration/admissions, and financial counseling.
• Lead performance management, set goals, and coach department staff.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and government regulations.
• Manage relationships with payer contracts and the revenue cycle across access points.
• Prepare and analyze management reports on weekly and monthly performance.
