Job summary

IU Health is seeking a check-in registration specialist at the Jackson St. Medical Office Building in Muncie, IN. The shift runs 8:00a–4:30p, Monday through Friday, with no weekends.

You will deliver revenue cycle services including scheduling, registration, insurance verification, prior-authorization, financial counseling, cashiering, release of information, and customer service, while adhering to departmental productivity, quality, and service standards.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing registration experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills necessary.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, register, verify insurance, and obtain prior authorization.
