Patient Access Representative - Woman Health

Job Overview

Under general direction, the Patient Access Representative I is responsible for completing tasks related to registration, financial clearance, insurance verification, cashiering, and other assigned duties within Revenue Cycle Management. The role requires performing tasks that meet quality and productivity standards.

Responsibilities:
  1. Complete all assigned tasks accurately and promptly.
  2. Respond professionally and courteously to customer needs.
  3. Communicate effectively with team members.
Qualifications:

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least 6 months of experience in Patient Access, Medical Billing, or Customer Service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), Windows applications, and 10-key calculators.

Preferred:

  • Associate Degree in Healthcare, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Certification in medical billing, coding, or similar.
  • Knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10.
  • One year of Revenue Cycle experience.
Additional Details:
  • Schedule: Full-time, 8am-4:30pm.
  • Location: Okemos, MI.
  • On Call: No, Weekends: No.
