Job summary

Kingman Regional Medical Center is seeking a diligent Registration Clerk to provide essential clerical support and ensure smooth patient registration. Responsibilities include verifying benefits, collecting copays, balancing accounts, and data entry, with a focus on accurate demographics and efficient discharge coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Provides excellent customer service completing the registration process for patients.
  • Confirms patient demographic information, verification of benefits, scheduling and coordinating post discharge care for patients.
  • Collection of copays or payments, balancing of accounts, and general data entry.
  • Preregister, register, schedule, reschedule, and discharge patients according to the defined guidelines.

This entails verifying benefits, facilitating patient discharges, collecting copays or payments, maintaining accurate account balances, and performing general data entry tasks.

Hours/Shift: Full Time/Days M-F 7:30am - 4:30pm

Qualifications:

Work Requirements: Able to reach above and below shoulder level, lift, bend, kneel, squat, stand, walk, and sit for the full scheduled shift; able to use business office equipment/computer. Expected duties have, but not routine exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
