Nationwide Children’s Hospital is seeking a dedicated Patient Access Representative to greet and register patients, answer calls, and schedule appointments at the Main Campus. The role includes pulling and filing charts and ensuring accurate demographic and insurance data.
Essential duties include verifying eligibility, communicating requirements, and guiding patients on financial assistance when applicable.
Sat-Sun, 3:30 PM - 9:30 PM, Admitting, Main Campus. First two weeks- Monday-Friday 8am-4:30 pm for training
The Patient Access Representative is responsible for greeting and registering patients, answering telephone calls, scheduling appointments, and pulling and filing medical charts when indicated.
Essential Functions: Provides excellent customer service to patients and families by applying best practices and standard operating procedures.
High School Diploma or equivalent, required. Associate's Degree, preferred.

One year of health care experience, preferred.
