Qualifications

  • Extensive customer service experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and computer literacy are required.
  • 1 year of patient registration, scheduling or other clerical/customer service in a medical office preferred.
  • Ability to keyboard accurately and quickly.
  • Basic insurance knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

Job Description:
  • Meets with patient or patient's caregiver to exchange necessary information and documentation.
  • Provides explanation of process and addresses concerns and questions.

  • Determines and accepts required payments, including co-pays deductibles, and coinsurance, or refers to financial counselors for follow up.
  • Ensures that all necessary demographic, billing, and clinical information is obtained and entered in the registration system with timeliness and accuracy.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Extensive customer service experience
  • Excellent and demonstrated communication skills/Computer literacy
  • 1 year of patient registration, scheduling, or other clerical/customer service experience in a medical office setting preferred
  • Ability to keyboard accurately and quickly
  • Basic insurance knowledge preferred
Compensation Information:

$18.25 - $31.94

The hourly pay range shown represents the base pay range for this position. Individual pay is determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, and market considerations. In addition to base pay, eligible team members may earn additional compensation through shift, weekend, holiday, on-call, and other applicable differentials.
