Job summary

MaineGeneral Health seeks a Patient Access Supervisor to oversee registration and staff at assigned locations. The role requires leadership experience and expertise in patient access operations within a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities include directing staffing, coaching staff, evaluating performance, and ensuring policy compliance. The ideal candidate has Soarian/SCM experience and a strong customer-service focus to improve patient experiences.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years with leadership experience strongly preferred.
  • Soarian and SCM experience.
  • Supervisory and managerial skills to plan, direct and evaluate subordinate staff.
  • Desire to excel in a patient-centered environment.
  • Must be adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of insurance, hospital admissions, billing processes.

Individual pay is determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, and market considerations. In addition to base pay, eligible team members may earn additional compensation through shift, weekend, holiday, on-call, and other applicable differentials.
