Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certified Medical Assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle a large volume of inbound and outbound calls promptly.
• Manage Central Scheduling Voicemail.
• Schedule patient appointments with BHS cardiologists.
• Follow call scripts for various scenarios.
• Identify customer needs and provide solutions.
• Manage OnBase queue and document in EPIC.
• Data entry tasks.
• Route calls appropriately.
• Provide excellent customer service.

This is a Full-Time opportunity with a shift of 4:00pm - 2:00am, Wednesday - Saturday.As the Patient Access Representative II, you will register patients accurately and efficiently, utilize multiple patient access areas, maintain service excellence to patients and visitors for face-to-face and telephone encounters, and contribute to PAS Goals as defined annually (Collections, Palm Scanning, etc.) You will need to possess a strong understanding of State and Federal regulations including EMTALA, AHCA, and JCAHO, maintain a professional relationship with all clinical and non-clinical team members, be able to articulate compliance documentation and ensure completion of required patient consent forms, and maintain patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA guidelines. This campus has onsite parking options and great benefits!
