Baptist Health Downtown Jacksonville is seeking a Patient Access Representative II to register patients accurately and efficiently, manage multiple access areas, and provide excellent service for in-person and phone encounters.
The role requires knowledge of EMTALA, AHCA, and JCAHO regulations, as well as HIPAA privacy. Shift is 4:00pm–2:00am, Wednesday through Saturday, with onsite parking and comprehensive benefits.

Baptist Health is hiring an experienced Patient Access Representative II for Baptist Downtown. This is a Full-Time opportunity with a shift of 4:00pm - 2:00am, Wednesday - Saturday.
As the Patient Access Representative II, you will register patients accurately and efficiently, utilize multiple patient access areas, maintain service excellence to patients and visitors for face-to-face and telephone encounters, and contribute to PAS Goals as defined annually (Collections, Palm Scanning, etc.) You will need to possess a strong understanding of State and Federal regulations including EMTALA, AHCA, and JCAHO, maintain a professional relationship with all clinical and non-clinical team members, be able to articulate compliance documentation and ensure completion of required patient consent forms, and maintain patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA guidelines. This campus has onsite parking options and great benefits! We do not see patients or have providers at this Call Center.
