LCMC Health in New Orleans is seeking a Patient Access Representative in Central Scheduling. You will be the first point of contact, guiding patients to the right care and coordinating appointments across specialties and locations.

Qualifications

• 2 years of customer service and/or healthcare experience.
• High School Diploma or GED or 2 years of applicable experience in lieu of education.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly.

• Schedule patient appointments across multiple specialties and locations.
• Verify insurance eligibility and ensure required information is complete.
• Coordinate referrals, authorizations, and scheduling requirements when needed.
• Help patients find appointment times that best meet their needs.

As a Patient Access Representative in Central Scheduling, you're often the first connection patients have with our health system. Whether they're scheduling a routine appointment or coordinating specialized services, you help guide them to the right care at the right time.

Your attention to detail, compassion, and problem-solving skills help make scheduling simple, accurate, and stress-free—creating a seamless experience for both patients and providers.

What You'll Do

• Schedule patient appointments across multiple specialties and locations
• Verify insurance eligibility and ensure required information is complete
