The University of Miami UHealth at SoLé Mia, opening September 2025, will bring high-quality academic medicine to North Miami, Aventura, and surrounding communities. Our team includes specialists from NCI–designated Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, Desai Sethi Urology Institute, and top neurology and neurosurgery programs.

The Department of Patient Access at SoLé Mia has an exciting opportunity for a Patient Access Representative 2. This On-Site role involves registering patients, verifying insurance, explaining documents, and collecting payments.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Obtain, confirm, and enter demographic, financial, and clinical information for patient accounts.
2. Contact patients’ families or physicians’ offices to gather missing insurance information.
3. Verify insurance coverage and benefits; notify patients and physicians of any issues.
4. Collaborate with scheduling to identify additional patients.
5. Obtain necessary authorizations, pre-certifications, and referrals.
6. Notify patients of liabilities and collect funds.
7. Maintain accurate records and documentation.
8. Follow policies and safeguard assets.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS:
