Job summary

CHI Health Immanuel in Omaha is seeking a Patient Access Representative to be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a positive healthcare experience and accurate registration. You will verify insurance eligibility, communicate financial responsibilities, and support front-office workflows to help our revenue cycle run smoothly while upholding HIPAA privacy.

Responsibilities

  • Every day you will utilize multiple healthcare systems to schedule appointments, process medical records, and resolve registration or insurance discrepancies.
  • You will engage with patients to communicate financial responsibilities, provide clear estimates of liabilities, and collect payments at the time of service.
  • Your daily responsibilities will also include answering inquiries, routing calls, maintaining a professional front-office environment, and participating in team huddles to ensure all productivity and quality benchmarks are consistently met.

We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who excels in communication, upholds strict HIPAA privacy standards, and is dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.

Pay Range

$17.24 - $24.35 /hour
