Job summary

Trinity Health's Holy Cross Health in Fort Lauderdale seeks a Full-time Patient Access Registrar for a 12-hour night shift. You will collect accurate financial and demographic data, communicate with payors, and manage insurance authorizations with a focus on patient service.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED; an Associate’s degree is preferred. CPAT certification is preferred but not required.

• Collect money due from patient at admission or in ER setting prior to discharge.
• Complete all necessary reports.
• Communicate with Case Management, Patient Financial Services and Medicaid eligibility teams and other departments as appropriate.

Licensure

Certified Patient Account Technician CPAT preferred, but not required

Minimum Qualifications
