Job Title: Patient Access Representative – Outpatient

Location: Estes Park, CO ***FULLY ONSITE IN ESTES PARK, CO - DO NOT APPLY IF YOU CANNOT COMMUTE TO ESTES***

Industry: Healthcare – Outpatient Registration

Pay: $16.08 – $21.87 per hour (based on experience; 12+ years of non-restaurant customer service required for top pay rate)

Addison Group is partnering with a reputable healthcare provider in a scenic mountain community. This full-time, onsite opportunity supports patient access operations in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Job Description:

The Patient Access Representative serves as the first point of contact for patients arriving for outpatient services. The role is responsible for ensuring a seamless registration process, verifying insurance, collecting payments, and supporting patient satisfaction throughout the visit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome patients and gather complete registration and insurance details
  • Enter patient data accurately into the EPIC system
  • Collect co-pays and validate insurance eligibility and benefits
  • Obtain proper identification and documentation prior to service
  • Communicate effectively with clinical and administrative staff
  • Maintain compliance with Medicare/Medicaid guidelines and required forms
  • Support billing team projects as needed
  • Handle incoming calls and follow up on voicemails in a timely manner

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 12+ years of customer service experience (restaurant experience excluded)
  • Prior experience in a healthcare or medical office environment preferred
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred but not required
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented with good multitasking ability
  • Stable work history (no frequent short-term roles)

  • 100% on-site position in a mountain town environment
  • Contract-to-hire: 720-hour assignment with potential for permanent hire
  • Business casual or scrubs accepted
