Job summary

US Tech Solutions in Beverly Hills, CA is seeking a Patient Services Representative for a 3+ month contract. The role will record patient demographics, insurance info, process charges and payments, and schedule appointments while cross-training in multiple admin functions.

You will be the first contact for patients, greet them, resolve concerns, collect co-pays, verify insurance in CS-Link/Epic, process referrals, and handle provider correspondences.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1+ year of outpatient clinic experience.
• Experience with medical insurance and benefit plans.

Responsibilities

• Primary point of contact for patient relations in person and by phone.
• Greet patients and assist in resolving patient concerns and escalating as appropriate.
• Check patients in/out and collect co-payments, give receipts, and reconcile payments.
• Verify patient demographics and insurance information in CS-Link/Epic.
• Schedule appointments and complete patient registration.
• Process and track referrals and authorizations for various insurance types.
• Handle patient/provider correspondence.
• Explains policies, procedures, or services to patients.
• Sanitize workspace using provided supplies and following department guidelines.

Job Description:

• The PSR will be responsible for timely and accurate recording of patient demographics, insurance information, patient charges and collections. Scheduling patient appointments in a timely and accurate manner. Cross training required in multiple administrative support functions.

• Ability to read, understand, and respond to detailed oral and written instructions
• Flu vaccinated (no exemptions)
